Hey everyone just thought I'd drop in and say hi. I got lost and forgot that hondachopper is sohc (My last honda chop was a sohc) So I got redirected here!
But now I am building a 83 honda that I scored for 300 bucks. I raked the frontend out a few degrees,hardtailed the rear and added a couple of inches there,Old Arlen Ness tank,harley oil bag hides the battery and electrical crap,I used an old spotlight and converted it to 12 volts ...taillight is a old clearance light from some truck (probably from the 40's or 50's???) I fabbed an intake to run a 34MM Mikuni but I haven't got the bike on the road so I can't report on how well it works yet. I did the paint in pearl white with a micro flake in panels...still gotta stripe the panels in some light color (gotta decide what) I had a buddy cover the seat pan since I don't sew! This was going to be my dirtbag challenge build....I threw it together in 12 days but didn't quite get it done for the show...so now I'm slowing down and getting it a little nicer. Anyway....thats my story and I'm sticking to it!
