I want to build a CBX but I can't find anything in a decent price range!

I know the feeling Doc. I've been looking for one for quite awhile. Last time I saw a CBX engine on ebay, it brought just over $2500, and had 60k on the
clock.

...yep, good luck on that one. I think there was a complete bike a couple years back down my way on Ebay. Somewhere around New Orleans that had a blow case
or something that went for a decent price. Of course with a blow case your almost back at square one. Ahh, who wants to fool with cleaning and syncing 6
carbs anyway!!!

Keep watching ebay Bill. I passed two motors for under a grand and got the basket case I have now for $1225. All of these were in 2008 so they are out
there.
I swear it, video coming. Got fed up with the carbs and sent them to Neal today. Its his first six pack.

I'm still looking. It is a shame that 79' is being parted out. (Not the rusted one but the pieces all listed by the same guy). I got my eyes open
locally as well. Have you been to cbxworld yet? You may find a sale there too.

decent for a CBX is under 3 grand. I'll just wait for one to fall in my lap.
doc i thought you were the one who told me i was crazy (i think something more towards stupid was used) for wanting to chop up a cbx.?

I did? I find that hard to believe! I'll hack up whatever I got! It's tough to hack up a good one, but I'll hack up a derelict in a heartbeat!

Damn Doc, I just saw one go for 1200, running and in decent condition. it was only up for a couple of days on CL. Ill keep an eye out for ya na dlet you know
