I'm not so sure that you really save that much by buying on line when you factor in shipping. I found a bike shop 75 miles from my home that deals mostly
with crotch rocket stuff but they will mount and spin balance the tires for 12.00 add the 4.00 to get rid of the old tire and my total bill for a Metzler 880
marathon was about 115.00 and that was for the rear tire. Worth it to me not to have to wrestle that stiff new tire, get rid of the old one, have it spun
balanced and taking the chance on scratching or breaking my aluminum wheels. If you have spokes that can even check it for true, tighten and align. I need a
chance to get to the city once in awhile anyway, stock up on the beans, flour, sugar and salt.

Ditto on the locals... I got my Coopers from Arlington Motorsports, and Gary (the back-shop manager) mounted and balanced them himself. It's worth paying a
little extra for a local sale to not have to pay a LOT extra in shipping, and you're supporting 'the little guy'!

i just bought the new rear tire for ELVIS from jc whitless , great looking tire (cheng-shin) car tread tire 510x16" and it was only $53.00 i also bought a
heavy duty #530x110 chain and it saved me the shipping cost (orders of $75.00 or more = free shipping ) got the stuff in about a week . i priced simaler tires
localy and on-line and found them all to be $75.00 and up . i have run jc whitless tires and chains in the past and never had any trouble .

I bought one of their chains, it came apart! And not at the master link! Almost every pin was loose! I paid to have it shipped back to them while it was still
under warrenty and have never gotten my money back. I'm sorry guys but that scared the shit out of me, I was just glad that I noticed it when I was doing
my weekly oiling. I've learned my lesson. I buy the best parts I can afford, tires included, I don't care what I run on my cages but when it comes to
something that my life really does depend on I'll wait until I can afford the best. The few extra bucks is worth the piece of mind. Like my buddy says, you
are only one bolt away from upside down on a bike.

Getting them from Warren's here in Round Lake tomarrow. I talked to Warren Senior (no joke, his son works for him and he is "junior" remind you
of a tv show?) He came pretty close to the prices I was finding online. Would have been a little cheaper onlince cause i found a place with free shipping and
ther would have been no tax, but I do feel better buying then from a "little guy"

Good idea. I'm sure that their families appreciate it too.

Sweet, glad to hear it. Hey Sean, Kori wants to know if you've cleaned your greaseball XL yet?

How's she doing? I washed it last fall. It's pretty dirty right now. Been riding to work a lot the past 2 or 3 weeks, and I keep meaning to wash it but
it's been hard to find the time. I got the front tire mounted by the shop yesterday and the wheel back on the bike today, along with changing the oil, and
Warren said the rear tire should be in tomarrow. Now I just gotta find a way to get my rear wheel there before they close at 6 pm. Have you gotten your ride up
and running yet? Gimme a call sometime soon, I'm living the bachelor life monday through thursday, Nikki's working out of town.

I just bought tires from these guys, not the cheapest I'm sure esp. w/ shipping, but I got what I wanted and it wasn't unreasonable
