			<description><![CDATA[ I have a friend with a poor performance problem on one of these. He brought it to me, and i might need a little help.<br>Ok, i will need help.<br>Its popping on accelleration, a little, and at idle. It is backfireing and shooting flames(yikes!) out the exhaust. Number 2 is worse than 1. It has a revtech carb, that I have never seen one like before. It also pops on decel. The carb has alot of oil in it.  <br><br>He has put autolite plugs in it...and they are black carbon fouled. He put in... ]]></description>

Almost all blacked out, VERY low-slung, with a lopey v-twin in it. <br>When my light changed, I rode over to it. The tank clearly said &quot;HARLEY DAVIDSON&quot; in block letters, but the rest, my golly, was THAT ever NOT their usual style! But when we go through the manual, it looks like you have to check the timing with the timing light advanced 15 degrees.  My light is the El Cheapo model with no advance.  So I tell him to go buy a light and we'll check it out.<br><br>Now my question is this.  The manual said to use a timing... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Just picked up a 1979 FXEF (fatbob model)  80&quot; shovel head.<br><br>Currently the motor runs GREAT but the transmition needs some work. I think I have a bent shift fork.  you can shift 1st, 2nd, and neuteral just fine.  but third acts just like neuteral and 4th doesn't exist.<br><br>Going to have to pull the trasmition and take a look at it.<br><br>I'm also going to track down a set of stock length front forks and get rid of the 6 overs.....<br><br>Forward controls or Floorboards are in... ]]></description>
